The most important part of a phone is the data you have saved on it. That goes for extensive contact lists, irreplaceable family photos, text message history, and more. Recently, a customer brought in their brand new phone and asked us if we could help transfer their data. Another person’s old phone stopped working, so they bought a new one. Luckily, we were able to get the old one working enough to transfer their information to the new phone. If a phone is capable of turning on, there is a good chance we can help you transfer your data.
Transferring data from one phone to another is much faster if you have backed up your data recently. If there is a recent backup we can use, we only have to download it to the new phone. If not, we recommend that you manually do a backup before visiting the shop to minimize the waiting time. However, don’t sweat it if you aren’t sure how to do that. We’re more than happy to walk you through the process of backing up your data, whether you have an Apple or Android (Samsung, Motorola, LG) device.
The service costs as low as $10 for a simple transfer. If the phone requires fixing to retrieve your data, we can temporarily fix the phone for $50, which is less than half the cost of most repairs. After the transfer, we will revert the old phone to the condition you first brought it in.
Our shop is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm. You can always call us at (817)399-1000, and here’s our Google Maps Location.
